“You must go,” L’Den said, tone serious.
“How did you handle it, when you found out you were bonded to a human?” T’ren was there, but certainly wasn’t privy to the other man’s feelings at the time.
“I accepted it,” L’Den said, disconnecting his wrist cable from the console where he was sitting.
Call ending in five seconds.
T’ren lowered his head, waiting for the vid-call to end.
“And when I did,” L’Den’s voice came through the comm. “I became my true self.”
